A four-season tourism offering

One project, two spaces

The project includes 35 KM of trails, a graphite interpretation center with industrial tours, a service pavilion with a café-boutique and a 360° observation tower.

SPORTS CENTER: Outdoor & Mountain Biking

Opening July 10

  • Home in «Base Camp» mode: A centralized ticket office and information point in converted shipping containers (on-site parking and dry toilets).
  • Graphite Sector: 15 enduro-style trails for intermediate to expert riders, located in the mountains near Lake England.
  • Stump Sector Our skill park includes 8 tracks and 3 jump courses, suitable for all levels (from beginners to experts).
  • Multipurpose trails: 3.5 km of accessible trails for walking and multi-use.
  • Rental Service: Electric-assist fat bike rentals available and traditional mountain bike rentals (in partnership with the Circonflexe program of Loisir et Sport Lanaudière) from Friday to Sunday.

  • The Main Welcome Pavilion: Construction will begin this summer to eventually offer a permanent building with a shop and a café space.
  • 360° Observation Tower (Planned for 2028): A 20-meter-high wooden structure offering panoramic views of the region and Lake aux Pierres.
  • Construction of Parking Lot #2: Arrangement of a second parking space to increase capacity and facilitate access to different areas.
  • Trail network: Addition of 15 km of additional multi-use trails.
  • Winter Offer: Winter fat biking and snowshoeing trail development.

The Service Pavilion will include:
  • Welcome and Ticketing: The main entry point for guiding and advising visitors.
  • Graphite Interpretation Centre: A modern space dedicated to the mining history and geology of Haute-Matawinie.
  • Café-boutique A place of relaxation showcasing local products and artisans.

  • Creation and development of the Graphite Interpretation Center.
  • Layout of the coffee shop and local products boutique.
  • Industrial mine tours A unique immersion into the heart of Nouveau Monde Graphite's facilities.

The Espace Nature outdoor and cultural center is located at 1501 Sagacité Road in the municipality of Saint-Michel-des-Saints, 9 km from the village center. The mountain bike trails are developed on a mountain near England Lake and the multi-use trail is developed east of Pierres Lake.
